Plan for upcoming annual get together was discussed for which website of association needs to be revived. Through website, E-payment function is planned with display of previous events and details of previous committee members. The panel discussion is planned on 'Upcoming legislations in Homoeopathy'. Panelists will be experts of the respective fields. It was suggested that fees for Get together may be increased to 600/-. A few points regarding next year plan were also discussed. It is planned that next year it's going to be a 2 day National seminar in association with NHMC college (Saturday and Sunday) followed by Gala dinner on Sunday night It was also proposed that NHMC Alumni association may participate as Technical collaborator for HPWWC2020 International Conference to be held on 11-12 Jan 2020. This has no financial implication and our logo will be shared with them.

The Executive Committee Meetings of the Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College Alumni Association were held from time to time in the year 2017. The details are as follows
1. The first meeting
The new Executive committee was formed after Dr Anil Khurana completed a successful and dedicated tenure of 2 years as president and handed over the charge to Dr Sanjeev Kohli who was Vice – President, in January 2017. Dr Parul, former Secretary and Dr sapna, former Treasurer; also handed over their respective charges. The new committee was formed for the next two consecutive years

- • Chalking out programme for annual alumni meet ‘UMANG 2016’
- • Enrolment of interns as new members of Alumni
- • The internship students of the college are to be invited to become members of the alumni.
- • Revision of contact details of ALUMNI members in the ALUMNI bulletin
- • The alumni bulletin is to be revised. An email will be sent to all nehruites requesting for updating the information about them and their colleagues. Necessary corrctions will be made in the bulletin.
- • The entry to the annual function will be by tickets. The tickets will be priced at Rs. 500/- per person. Payment will be accepted in new money & not old currency. Cheques may be accepted.
- • The batches who've completed 25 (1993) and 35 (1982) years of passing out from NHMC should be felicitated.
- • The general body meeting to be held on the same day from 5:30 pm onwards and new executive committee will be formed.
- • The cultural programme to begin at 4:30 pm .
- • Suitable sub-committees will be formed for management and organization of the annual gathering.
- CME on Radiological Assessment for Disease Diagnosis The first CME was held on 17th April 2016 jointly with IIHP and the topic of discussion was “Radiological Assessment for Disease Diagnosis”. A paper in this regard was presented by Dr Kamaldeep Dham (Radiologist) and was attended by about 50 plus members. This was followed by a detailed group discussion on the importance of radiological assessment in diagnosis of the disease.
- CME on Homoeopathy in Management of Pediatric Disorders with Homeopathy: On 17th July 2016 the second CME was held jointly with IIHP and the topic of discussion was on “Management of Pediatric disorders with Homeopathy” presented & discussed with Padmashri Dr V K Gupta & Dr Navneet Bidani. The CME was attended by about 68 members.
- CME on Homoeopathy in Clinical Success Factors The 3rd and last CME of the year was held on 05th Nov 2016 and the topic of discussion was “Clinical Success factors”. The speakers of this CME were Dr. B S Johri & Dr. Neeraj Pasricha. Around 40 plus members were attended the CME. A very informative discuss held among the invited speakers and members.

The third meeting of Executive Committee of the Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College Alumni Association was held on 5th November 2016 in NHMC Auditorium at 2:30 p.m. The following members attended the meeting:
The Treasurer of the NHMC Alumni Association welcomed all the members.
The Annual alumni meet shall be held on 18th Dec 2016 shall be called ‘UMANG 2016’. It was decided that a committee may be constituted to look into the modalities of organizing the Annual alumni meet.
FOURTH EXECUTIVE MEETING
The fourth meeting of Executive Committee of the Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College Alumni Association was held on 26st Nov 2016 in NHMC Auditorium at 2:00 p.m. The following members attended the meeting:
The General Secretary of the NHMC Alumni Association welcomed all the members. The President, Dr Anil Khurana was requested to preside over the meeting. Distribution of the responsibilities for the Annual meet arrangement were discussed.

Improving membership from internship students
A program specially designed for the internship studients be conducted at NHMC in the first week of December to motivate them to become members. Those internship students who become alumni members will be given a discount of Rs 250/- and the ticket cost for UMANG 2016 will be Rs 250/- for these persons.
List of life members
A total of about ------Nehruites have registered themselves as life members of the Association as on 1st Dec. 2016. The annual bulletin will have the list of life members.
Approval of Agenda for AGM
The agenda of AGM was approved by the committee.
Printing of the Bulletin 2016 and Auditing of accounts
It was decided that the accounts of the Association shall be prepared by Dr Sapna and auditors.
CONTINUED MEDICAL EDUCATION SESSIONS ORGANIZED
UMANG 2016:
Preparations are on for Annual Alumni Meet- ‘UMANG 2016’, which is scheduled to be held this year on 18th Dec 2016 at NHMC grounds. It shall be an informal get-together to rejuvenate and relieve the spirit of being members of the same family.
